Sounds like life is all set right? Great travel (especially with a husband working in the airline industry), a 401K plan and benefits, owning a flexible business in real estate, building a RE portfolio, lots of security right? - NOT HAPPENING!
We found ourselves in tons of debt with a failing business, plus a very poor real estate investment that tanked along with the rest of the market, taking my company with it. I wanted out of the Biz. I was sick and tired of the constant interruptions and doing cartwheels to get to the closing table. I was looking for No Boss, No Overhead, and a proven business system, since I did not want to start from scratch.
Gilles had been a corporate airline exec for 25 years who was constantly flying in an out of the country. He has experienced two corporate moves, the first ,leaving his 7 and 11 year old children in New York after a messy divorce and the second turning a leisurly 10 minute commute into a 2 1/2 to 3 hour daily I-95.
You can imagine that between flying, the commute and the office hours we hardly had the time to build a solid foundation in a new marriage. We had to put our thinking caps on and definitely not the same thinking that got us where we were. Decisions needed to be made, and quickly, before we lost our home and everything we both worked so hard for including our marriage. We also knew that retirement was around the corner and we wanted to be able to live the lifestyle that we had become accustomed to. When Gilles left Martinair he realized that he was actually gaining back 2 days of his life PER WEEK just from the time gained by not having to commute.
We knew what we did not want. NO Multi-Level-Marketing (MLM) No Stocking or shipping products, and definitely no selling to friends, family and past clients.
We sifted through the internet maze knowing that any business takes desire and determination. We have seen that it is possible to go from paycheck to profits with a turnkey marketing system, an exceptional support team and little if any business/marketing experience. Gilles is now FREED because of this incredible opportunity. We both have chosen to take our lives into our own hands.
The next generation of millonaires are a direct result of the internet. With the current state of the economy, more and more people are searching and yearning to be self-employed. In fact by 2010 the biggest employer will be self - The Self-Employed.
